How beautifully Twisted is this?

I love the functionality of a pin cushion. It's compact, functional art at it's best!
I came across this on my wanderings. It was created by l-e-e-l-o-o and posted on deviantart.com. Wonderful!

Block 1 is in the can!

Finally picked up the matching beads for block 1. I am amazed at the lack of decent craft stores in the area. Michael's selection of seed beads is relegated to one vendor. A beautiful selection, but limited! The staff there....no so nice or helpful. On the other hand, Joann's cashiers are super helpful, but my local store looks as if a hurricane ran through it. It makes it so difficult to find what I need! I think I'm going to need therapy after my attempt to locate a sewing pattern there! I sure do miss Hobby Lobby!

"Pennies from Heaven"

Block 1 is almost finished! Almost meaning that I bought the wrong coloured beads. Should have taken a swatch (dumbass)!!!! Such a blast though. I'm really loving working with wool (no needle turning cotton! Ugh!).

Super quick & super cute

I created these for my bestie & textile partner in crime Patty. I was inspired by Sue Spargo. Her use of colour & stitch choice are always fun.

And so it begins!

My ramblings on a number of all things textile!
